On ordering an instrument a deposit of 25% of the retail price will be paid before any work can commence.
(N.B. A 50% deposit will be required when ordering Banjos or other 'special order' instruments.)
The retail price will be agreed by the customer and Pickard Acoustics, taking into account the instrument model, style and degree of customisation required, before the payment of the deposit.
The customer will be advised as to the estimated date of completion; this being dependent upon current work in hand and orders yet to be fulfilled.
(Present waiting time of about three to six months for non-custom instruments - April 2008).
On completion of the order the remainder of the agreed price will be paid in full before the instrument can be delivered.
Delivery will be arranged between the customer and Pickard Acoustics and will be subject to a charge.
Any deposit paid will be deemed as non-returnable.
